United Nations Reform

United Nations Reform - Economic and Social Council reform

Member States have yet to conclude negotiations on reforming the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) which will need to reflect the report of the high-level panel on system-wide coherence. Expected later this year, the panel’s report will analyse the proposal to set up three tightly managed entities in the fields of development, humanitarian assistance and the environment.
