The Working Holiday Scheme between New Zealand and Poland entered into force on 15 February 2010. The scheme allows young people to holiday, work and study in each others country for up to 12 months.
The Working Holiday Scheme is open for up to 100 participants per year, who are aged18-30 years and meet other eligibility criteria.
The introduction of the Working Holiday Schemes is a significant milestone in New Zealand’s bilateral relationship with Poland that will help to increase the people-to-people links between both countries.
Working Holiday Schemes also contribute to growth in the tourism and education sectors.
More information on the Working Holiday Scheme for Polish citizens can be found on the Immigration New Zealand website. Enquiries and applications for New Zealand citizens can be made through the Polish Embassy in Wellington.
