Brazilian Governor promotes Kiwi investment

Jaques Wagner, the Governor of the Brazilian state of Bahia, visited Auckland, Hamilton and Wellington on 15-17 November, as a guest of the New Zealand Government.

Governor Wagner, whose state hosts two significant New Zealand agricultural investments, was promoting Bahia as an attractive destination for New Zealand businesses and investors. At the conclusion of the Governor's visit, the Governments of New Zealand and Bahia released a Joint Statement (PDF, 463KB) underlining areas of cooperation.
