

Mario Marconini, a former Foreign Trade Secretary of Brazil and currently the Director of International Negotiations at the Federation of Industries for the State of Sao Paulo (FIESP), was in New Zealand last week to foster better understanding of the size, strengths and influence of the Brazilian economy.
His visit aimed to increase interest among New Zealand businesses and entrepreneurs in Brazil by providing a picture of the strengths and weaknesses of Brazil as a place to do business. During his visit, Mr Marconini spoke at Brazil Business Forums in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, as well as meeting selected business leaders.
