Five Mexican Scholarships for the Pacific Region Students

The Mexican Government is inviting applications for scholarships from New Zealand and other Pacific region students who are interested in undertaking postgraduate studies at participating Mexican universities and research institutes in 2011.

Five scholarships are available. They cover enrolment and tuition fees (where applicable), a monthly allowance, medical insurance and domestic transport on arrival.

The deadline for applications for the 2011 academic year is 15 October 2010. New Zealanders wishing to enrol in special academic programmes in the course of 2011 can apply for a scholarship between 17 January and 30 November 2011.

Prerequisite

Before applying, applicants must be accepted at one of the participating academic institutions. Additional information on the scholarships, recognised programmes and participating higher education institutions and contact points can be viewed on the following websites:
