Immigration information
Visas
Delegates from the following countries do not require a visa to enter New Zealand for stays of less than three months:
Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia*, Finland, France, Germany, Greece*, Hong Kong*, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea (South), Kuwait, Latvia*, Liechtenstein, Lithuania*, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal*, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, USA*, Uruguay, Vatican City.

Delegates from other countries should ensure they apply in good time for a visitor visa**. Visitor visas must be obtained prior to departing for New Zealand. Information is available at the Immigration New Zealand website:

Delegates should attach their registration confirmation letter (issued by the Conference organisers) to their visa application forms.
** Delegates from Latin American countries who would normally submit their New Zealand visitor visa applications to a British Embassy are requested, for the purposes of this conference, to submit their applications to their nearest New Zealand Embassy. The New Zealand Embassies in this region are located in the following cities: Brasilia, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Santiago.
Diplomatic Passport holders
For the purpose of this meeting holders of diplomatic passports from countries not on the visa-waiver list are required to apply for a visitor visa but are exempt from the requirement to pay the fee.
Fee Waiver for non-diplomatic passport holders
Delegates not travelling on diplomatic passports and who require a visa to enter New Zealand will be exempt from payment of visa fees for the purposes of this conference. Following registration, please identify the requirement for a waiver from the fee. Further instructions will be provided subsequently.
UNLP
People travelling to New Zealand on a United Nations laissez-passer for a period of up to three months are exempt from the requirement to obtain a visitors visa.
