Deputy Secretary Services Group
Nigel Prince joined MFAT as Group Manager Services on 7 December 2015.
Before this, Nigel was Regional General Manager, Managed Infrastructure Services with Fujitsu New Zealand. In this role, he was responsible for the leadership and direction of more than 420 staff across service management, operations and professional services teams, and for the effective delivery of solutions and services to customers.
A chartered accountant, Nigel began his career with Ernst and Young, and has worked in a variety of roles across the public and private sector including senior roles with Telecom, New Zealand Post and as Chief Information Officer with the then Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. He was Deputy Director-General, Corporate Services with the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) until April 2014, having overseen the integration of corporate systems after the merger of three agencies into MPI.
