PURPOSE
The New Zealand Embassy Fund is managed by the New Zealand Embassy in China and is aimed at community groups and NGOs.
The Fund aims to support small, short-term social projects that contribute to the welfare development of the wider community. Projects must be consistent with the New Zealand Aid programme's mission of promoting sustainable development in developing countries, in order to reduce poverty and contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous world.
WHO
The Fund is aimed primarily at community groups and NGOs but other types of organisations e.g. schools, business associations may apply. The Fund does not support individual businesses or government organisations.
HOW LONG
No individual project will be supported for longer than two years. Supporting different projects by the same partner over a longer duration is possible.
New Zealand Embassy Fund China
The New Zealand Embassy Fund (China) is a fund managed by the New Zealand Embassy in China primarily for community groups and NGOs in China.
Applicants for the first round of the New Zealand Embassy Assistance Fund (China) for 2022-2023 must submit their applications to the New Zealand Embassy in China between 21 March (Monday) and 22 April (Friday) 2022.
Facing the challenges presented by COVID-19, the embassy will also consider projects that address social and health issues related to or arising from the pandemic.
The maximum application fund for each project is RMB100,000.
The application form can be completed in both Chinese and English and submitted via email. (Please find attached details and application form)
New Zealand Embassy Fund Mongolia
The New Zealand Embassy Fund (Mongolia) is a fund managed by the New Zealand Embassy in China primarily for community groups and NGOs in Mongolia.
Applicants for the first round of the New Zealand Embassy Assistance Fund (Mongolia) for 2022-2023 must submit their applications to the New Zealand Embassy in China between 21 March (Monday) and 22 April (Friday) 2022.
Facing the challenges presented by COVID-19, the embassy will also consider projects that address social and health issues related to or arising from the pandemic.
The maximum application fund for each project is USD 5,000.
The application form can be completed in English and submitted via email. (Please find attached details and application form)
