Administration Manager (locally employed)

The New Zealand Embassy in The Hague, Netherlands is seeking an experienced Administration Manager with strong administration and people management skills.
The Embassy in The Hague represents the New Zealand Government to the highest standards of professional excellence across New Zealand’s political, trade and economic, defence and security and multilateral interests, as well as delivering consular services for New Zealanders in the Netherlands. 
The Administration Manager contributes to the achievement of the strategic priorities of the Post through effective delivery of a full range of office management and administration duties including human resources, financial and budget management, property, procurement and IT systems.  The position also includes participation in the Embassy’s after hours consular duty roster.  Attached is a full position description.
The role will suit those interested in a broad range of work in a diverse and fast-changing environment. The ability to provide leadership and deliver results in a collaborative manner is essential, as is the ability to work in a small team with a practical approach to problem solving.  Excellent English written/oral communication skills are essential; Dutch written/oral communication skills are highly desirable.  
For the right person, this role will provide a rewarding experience across a range of different tasks and challenges to support New Zealand’s engagement with the Netherlands and multilateral institutions.
Applicants must have the right to live and work in the Netherlands, possess a current Driver’s License and be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.  This is a permanent, locally employed position.  No off-shore allowance, transfer allowance or provision of housing applies.
