New Zealand's High Commissioner to Fiji
Mark Ramsden is a career foreign service officer and was appointed New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji in November 2014, having acted in the role from September 2013.
Mark served most recently as High Commissioner to Solomon Islands from 2009 to 2013.
Before that, Mark held management roles in the New Zealand Aid Programme and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
He has had previous offshore assignments at the Mission to the United Nations in New York, High Commissions in Port Moresby and Port Vila, and on secondment to the Australian Government in Canberra.
Mark holds degrees from Otago and Harvard Universities.
