Policy Adviser

New Zealand High Commission, New Delhi


The New Zealand High Commission in New Delhi is seeking to appoint a Policy Adviser to join its small but dynamic policy team. This is a permanent (open tenure) position.

In this key position, you will be responsible for providing policy support with an emphasis on political and social issues covering India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. 

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate fluently, work independently, research and assess issues and report, build and maintain key relationships and be someone who is comfortable working as part of a dynamic multicultural team.

Fluency in English, both written and oral, is essential. Knowledge of Hindi and additional regional languages would be useful.

This role will also require you to manage social media outreach, and so some media experience would be welcome.
