Policy and Public Affairs Adviser

The New Zealand High Commission Singapore has a vacancy for a full time Policy and Public Affairs Adviser. 

In this position, under the guidance of the Deputy Head of Mission, you will help support and promote New Zealand’s relationship with Singapore and Maldives.

You will manage the High Commission’s public outreach and communications, including on social media. You will be responsible for reporting and analysis on a range of political and regional issues. You will help organise visits and events that advance New Zealand’s interests.

You will need to demonstrate excellent English written and oral communication skills, as well as strong research and analytical abilities. You will have good organisational skills, including effective prioritisation of tasks and working to deadlines.

You will be comfortable working in a team and building good relationships with a wide range of people. You will have an awareness of or interest in New Zealand.

The annual salary for the position starts at SGD69,500 and is subject to negotiation, dependent upon your skills and experience.

This is a locally engaged position.  The terms and conditions of employment will be in line with Singapore employment legislation.  The successful applicant, if resident outside of Singapore, will be responsible for costs associated with relocation to Singapore and accommodation in Singapore.
