The New Zealand High Commission in Singapore has a vacancy for a full-time Consular Adviser/Team Administrator.

The Consular Adviser/Team Administrator is responsible for:

  • Providing advice and assistance to New Zealanders in Singapore and Maldives, including distressed New Zealanders or during a crisis situation; and  
  • Providing administrative support to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the office.

Applicants should have experience managing sensitive and/or personal material with a high degree of tact and integrity and a strong customer focus.  Sound judgement and resilience are essential qualities, as is the ability to work as part of a team and to back up others as required.

This is a locally engaged position.  The terms and conditions of employment will be in line with Singapore employment legislation.  The successful applicant, if resident outside of Singapore, will be responsible for costs associated with relocation to Singapore and accommodation in Singapore. 

We would like the successful candidate to commence duties as soon as possible.
