Hurricane Florence is heading towards the south-east coast of the United States and is predicted to make landfall as a Category 4 hurricane.
The National Hurricane Centre warns that storm surges, heavy rainfall and flooding are likely. North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia have declared a state of emergency.
