Australians and New Zealanders will be marking Anzac Day in Italy later this month. Details for Rome, Milan and Sicily events are below.

Rome

Australians and New Zealanders in Rome will be commemorating ANZAC Day 2018 with a memorial service.

The service will take place at:

  • The Rome War Cemetery
  • Via Nicola Zabaglia (Piramide)
  • on Wednesday 25 April at 9.00am

An informal reception will follow the service at the Australian Ambassador’s Residence (Salita dei Parioli, 40, Rome).

For security reasons an RSVP is mandatory for those wishing to attend the informal reception at the Residence.

Milan

An Australian and New Zealand Memorial Service will be held to commemorate ANZAC Day 2018.

Laying of Commemorative Wreaths at:

  • The Commonwealth War Cemetery
  • Via Cascina Bellaria
  • Parco Trenno, Milan
  • Sunday 22 April at 09.15 am

Followed by a Memorial Service at:

  • All Saints' Church
  • Via Solferino, 17 – Milan
  • at 10.30 am

Refreshments will be served after the Memorial Service in Via Solferino, 17 – Milano

Australians and New Zealadners and all others are welcome to attend.

Catania - Sicily

A Commemoration Service will be held on 26 April 2018 at 11:30 at:

  • Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery
  • Stradale Passo Del Fico
  • Zona Industriale – Catania
