Anzac Day on 25 April each year is significant for New Zealanders and Australians worldwide, as the day when we reflect on the tragedy of war and the fortitude of all those compelled to endure it. We recognise the sacrifice made by New Zealand and Australian military personnel, and we remember all who have fought and died in war. We also acknowledge those New Zealand and Australian military personnel who continue to serve today.
