New Zealand updated its sanctions regulations related to Iran in February 2016, in line with changes to United Nations Security Council sanctions following the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) (sometimes referred to as the “Iran nuclear deal”). New Zealanders doing business with Iran should note the changes to doing business with Iran.
