Center for Australian and New Zealand studies
The Center for Australian and New Zealand Studies(external link) is part of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. The Center was established in August 1995 with funding from the Governments of Australia and New Zealand.
The Center offers a program of courses about Australia and New Zealand in such disciplines as history, government, international affairs, sociology, literature and fine arts. The Center also has an extensive outreach program of lectures, conferences and meetings each semester, many of which are organized jointly with other elements of Georgetown University, with the Australian and New Zealand Embassies, or with organizations such as the Asia Society and the Brookings Institute.

Fulbright New Zealand
Fulbright New Zealand(external link) promotes educational and cultural exchange between New Zealand and the United States, and administers the range of prestigious Fulbright awards for New Zealand and American graduate students, scholars, and professionals.
Fulbright New Zealand also administers the Ian Axford (New Zealand) Fellowships in Public Policy, Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Eisenhower Fellowships programmes in New Zealand.

Ian Axford Fellowships in Public Policy
Ian Axford Fellowships(external link) in Public Policy give outstanding mid-career American professionals opportunities to research, travel, and gain practical experience in public policy in New Zealand, including firsthand knowledge of economic, social, and political reforms and management of the government sector.
Three to four fellowships per year are awarded for six months of research in New Zealand. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with at least five years of experience in their profession, and submit a formal application package.
Fellows will be based at a relevant host institution and carefully paired with a leading policy expert who will serve as their mentor. They will conduct research towards developing a policy paper for publication and public presentation in New Zealand before they return to the United States.
