Kindly schedule an appointment at least 5 working days in advance and await confirmation of the appointment from us. To make an appointment, all visitors, please submit the Booking Request Form and any relevant document(s) to bkkappointments@mfat.govt.nz
Please note that the Embassy will be closed from Friday 12 April and we will open as per usual hours on Wednesday 17 April. Please note that appointments for notarial services are fully booking until 22 April 2024.
Due to increased security at M Thai Tower, you must bring your passport or a suitable government issued photographic identification to gain access to the Embassy.
Notarial Services
The New Zealand Embassy in Bangkok can provide some notarial services under New Zealand law when the documents are either New Zealand in origin or for use in – or requested by – New Zealand organisations. Our services include, but are not limited to, witnessing signatures, certifying true copies of original documents, and statutory declarations.
Notarial Service Fees (Effective from July 2021)
- THB 800 for certifying a document as being a true copy of an original
- THB 1,700 for providing a consular letter, taking a statutory declaration, affidavit, or witnessing signature
- THB 2,500 for verifying an authentication signature on a NZ document (this requires the document to have already been authenticated by NZ authorities)

Passport Fees to increase from 25 May 2022
Fees for New Zealand passports and Emergency Travel Documents will increase from 25 May 2022.
The Department of Internal Affairs reviews the fees every three years. The new fee structure will ensure New Zealand continues to deliver a quality passport that’s internationally recognised and trusted, and is a secure identity document for all New Zealanders.

- give advice, with the aim of helping you to help yourself
- help with a lost of stolen passport(external link)

- provide a list of English-speaking lawyers, and help you contact family and friends, if you are detained or arrested(external link)
- help you contact family and friends if you are ill or injured
- help with arrangements following a death overseas(external link)
- in certain circumstances, provide notarial services such as witnessing affidavits, statutory declarations and other documents for use under New Zealand law
- help during crises, such as civil unrest and natural disasters
