Information on Anzac Services in London.

The New Zealand and Australian High Commissions to the United Kingdom are proud to commemorate the courage and sacrifice of those who contributed so much to shaping the story of our nations, with commemorative services for Anzac Day 2024.

In London, events include a Dawn Service at Hyde Park Corner starting at 5am, a wreath laying Service of Commemoration at the Cenotaph at 11am, followed by a service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.

Anzac Day Dawn Service 
Thursday 25 April
5.00am – 6.00am (arrive by 4.40am)
Hyde Park Corner, London.

Gates will open at 4am. An entry point will be near the Knightsbridge side of Hyde Park Corner (closest to Hyde Park Corner tube station) where security measures and a police presence will be in place. Attendees must arrive by 4:40am as the Service will begin promptly at 5am. Tickets are not required to attend. There will not be any seating available and large bags are not permitted


Anzac Day Cenotaph Service
Thursday 25 April
10.50am – 11.30am (arrive by 10.40am)
Whitehall, at the Cenotaph
Tickets are not required to attend.

Please aim to arrive from 10am to secure a viewing position as the Parade will begin promptly at 10:50am. Public viewing will be possible along the south side of Whitehall (closest to the River Thames) – tickets are not required however security measures and a police presence will be in place. There will not be any seating available and large bags are not permitted.

Westminster Abbey Service
Thursday 25 April
12pm – 1pm (arrive by 11.40am)
Westminster Abbey
Tickets will be required to attend.

For the Westminster Abbey Service, you must have already secured a ticket to attend. If you have registered for tickets for the Westminster Abbey Service, you will have received information regarding attendance via email. If this is not showing in your inbox, please check your junk folder. Anyone without a ticket will not be able to attend.
