Designation notices
Designation notices provide further details on individuals, entities, assets or services that have already been sanctioned. These details are also included in the sanctions register.
A designation notice only clarifies who or what is already sanctioned, and does not create new sanctions. So, the date a designated entity was sanctioned is not the date the designation notice was issued; it is the date of sanctioning in the Regulations.
