Plan answers offline
For longer questions, you may plan your answers in MS Word or a similar software program. You can then copy and paste your prepared answers into the New Zealand Scholarships application form.
Preview the form
Click on the Preview button to read all the questions on the form, before you start.
The online form does not allow any formatting, except for a simple list.
Save your work as you go
The form does not automatically save your work. Every few minutes, click the ‘Save and resume later’ button to save your work. Then click the Edit button to continue your work.
The online application system works on modern versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome.
Optimal screen size
The online form is best completed on a computer. It works on mobile devices but it is hard to use on a small screen.
Navigate with the form buttons
You will lose your unsaved work if you use the browser’s back and forward navigation buttons.
Double-check your work
After you click the Submit button, you cannot change your answers. After you submit your application form, you can edit your contact details only.
Submit your form early
The New Zealand Scholarships online application system can get overloaded at application closing time. This can cause technical issues. To avoid any disappointment, submit your application 3-10 days before the closing date. We accept no responsibility for technical problems with any IT systems.
