MFAT completed a Partner and Stakeholder research project with Verian Ltd in 2026.
The Ministry maintains a range of stakeholder relationships which support its work in New Zealand and abroad. The 2026 research report provides a snapshot of stakeholder perceptions of the Ministry, including our dealings as a treaty partner, our work in the Pacific and our work in supporting trade.
In response to the findings, the Ministry will focus on improving internal processes, strengthening strategic communication, and improving our responsiveness to stakeholder feedback.
