Development Programme Coordinator

The New Zealand High Commission in Apia is looking for a suitably qualified, experienced, enthusiastic individual for the position of Development Programme Coordinator, to assist with the management of New Zealand’s development programme in Samoa.
This role is responsible for leading or contributing to partner relations, policy engagement and management of a portfolio of development activities. Ideally you will be mid-career with breadth and depth of experience in development policy analysis, relationship building, activity design and management, and results monitoring.
You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, the ability to manage information and develop informed, evidence-based solutions. You will have a sound knowledge of the development challenges and opportunities facing Samoa, and have a tertiary qualification in a field relevant to the role.
