Executive Assistant to the High Commissioner, New Zealand High Commission Kuala Lumpur

The New Zealand High Commission in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to the High Commissioner.

The overall purpose of this position is to provide secretarial support to the High Commissioner.  In this busy position you will provide professional PA and administrative services to the Head of Mission and other diplomatic staff, arrange and organise functions/meetings as well as help manage official visits among others. You must have at least an undergraduate degree, sound judgement, critical and analytical thinking, and attention to detail, motivation, initiative, and an ability to set priorities.  You must also be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, the ability to build a robust network of contacts and be able to work cooperatively as part of a small team.

Strong written and oral English and local language communication skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. Experience in a local and/or international government agency or organisation would be an advantage. The annual starting salary is RM60,000 and is subject to negotiation, dependent on your skills and experience. Candidates should be available for interviews week of 7th October 2019.
