New Zealand launched public consultations on a CEPA with the UAE on 29 February 2024, calling for submissions from anyone with an interest in providing feedback, including Māori, civil society, and businesses or individuals currently trading into the UAE market or those with an interest in doing so in the future.
The initial public consultation extended until 31 March 2024.
