New Domestic Advisory Group on trade

A new Domestic Advisory Group has been established to provide advice on New Zealand’s free trade agreements with the European Union and the United Kingdom.

The Domestic Advisory Group (DAG) will provide recommendations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on the implementation of and issues covered by the NZ-EU FTA, and the labour and environment elements of NZ-UK FTA.

Chaired by DAG member and New Zealand International Business Forum Executive Director Stephen Jacobi, the Group is independent and has a balance of Māori representation, business, trade unions and civil society Non-Government Organisations (NGOs).

DAG member organisations include:
