Our relationship with Maldives
Maldives and New Zealand enjoy a longstanding, albeit modest relationship. A number of prominent Maldivians have been educated in New Zealand under the Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme, which has given the bilateral relationship a good degree of warmth.
