Policy Adviser (Political and Regional), New Zealand Embassy, Seoul


Are you an experienced Policy Adviser looking for a new challenge? Would you like to help to represent New Zealand in Korea?

The New Zealand Embassy is seeking a Policy Adviser (Political and Regional) to help advance and support New Zealand’s interests.

In this busy position, you will support the Post’s engagement with government officials, local contacts and the business sector. You will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, and preparing policy reports and papers making recommendations.

You will help to identify and develop strategies for public and profile-raising events and functions that promote New Zealand’s interests. Your excellent research and critical analysis skills, coupled with strong written and oral English and local language communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, will be key to your success.

Annual starting salary for the position will be between KRW 45 million and 50 million per annum dependent upon skills and experience.
