Targeted travel bans on individuals responsible for human rights violations in Iran

On 12 December 2022(external link), the Minister of Foreign Affairs announced the implementation of targeted travel bans on 22 selected individuals from Iran. The list was expanded to 37 individuals on 15 February 2023(external link), to 55 individuals on 19 June 2023(external link) and to 98 individuals on 25 February 2026(external link). Some of these individuals are now deceased.

Through immigration instructions, a travel ban has now been implemented against the following:
