This page contains the open data releases with detailed information about the consular assistance the Ministry has provided to New Zealanders travelling or living offshore by financial year.
These services are wide-ranging and include helping New Zealanders with notarial services, lost passports, those needing medical assistance, victims of crime, assisting New Zealanders that have been detained or arrested, people impacted by disasters or other crisis events, and providing advice to the families dealing with the death of a loved one in another country.
These open data releases are published on the 15th of July every year. They are also published on data.govt.nz(external link).
