Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The Team Administrator – Finance and Property is responsible for providing general administration support with a particular emphasis on financial reporting and analysis, as well as overseeing property maintenance and management to ensure the efficient and smooth running of our office and Embassy properties. The position also acts as direct back-up for specific duties of the Operations Manager to cover for absences and busy work periods. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage financial processes, including budget management and reporting, regular payments and accounting functions, and end-of-month financial procedures.
- Work to keeping all Embassy properties well-maintained by liasing with internal clients and external service providers.
- Ensure Embassy compliance with policies and procedures relating to finance and property.
- Be aware of and adhere to the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to post-wide projects and emergency response situations.
The appointment range for this role is R$5000-6000 per month, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong foundation in key administrative skills.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Customer-focused mindset and attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise, multi-task and perform under pressure
- A qualification in business administration or finance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Portuguese
- Some experience in a business administration role, especially with financial management and reporting, would be a plus
- Exposure to or interest in property management is desirable
