The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing Executive support to the HOM and administration functions to the Post to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office.

The full salary range for this role is INR896,484 to INR1,054,688 total remuneration, inclusive of our provident fund contribution and 13th month payment.

We expect to appoint around the starting point of INR896,484 – give or take depending on your level of experience.

Mā‎ wai te mahi nei? – Who are we looking for?

We’d like to hear from you if you are an experienced Executive Assistant with the following skills and experience:

  • Providing PA and administrative services to senior officials e.g. email and call screening, placing of calls, scheduling appointments and diary management, coordination of inwards invitations, meeting and greeting of and provision of hospitality to visitors, drafting of correspondence.
  • Management of and booking official travel and transportation.
  • Managing invitations and guest lists for representational functions, assist with greeting and hosting VIP guests.
  • Providing verbal and written translation between English and the local language, or source externally as required
  • Undertaking general administration, including managing representational gift stocks, scanning documents for electronic filing, submission of expenses.
  • Drafting and compiling biographies for key personalities.
  • Networking, and developing/maintaining key contacts in a database.
  • Experience arranging events including preparation of programmes, venue liaison, runsheets and other event logistics.

If the successful candidate has worked or lived in New Zealand and are subsequently employed as locally engaged staff in a NZ Government Embassy or High Commission, they may, subject to individual circumstances, have NZ Tax Residency obligations. We advise any applicant, who may be in this situation, to discuss their tax residency status with the NZ Inland Revenue (IRD) and determine any potential personal tax obligations to IRD.
